Whiskey Tasting Event with Storm King Distilling Co

The Yarrow Taproom and Western Slope Whiskey Club are excited to introduce educational whiskey tasting events in Austin just east of Delta.

For our inaguaral whiskey event, we will be joined by David Fishering, co-owner and distiller with Storm King Distilling Company in Montrose.

Storm King Distilling Company is a true craft distillery that has a passion for high quality spirits and, through the use of the best raw materials sourced in Colorado, handcrafts amazing spirits. In addition, Storm King Distillery won Worlds Best American Whiskey at the prestigious 2023 World Whiskies Awards earlier this year for their Side Gig Whiskey.

Come learn about Storm King Distilling Co and how David crafts his amazing whiskeys and spirits as we taste through his whiskeys and a perhaps a gin expression.

The doors will open at 6:15pm and we'll start promply at 6:40pm. 

The Yarrow Taproom will craft both a Mediterranean spread and a special whiskey club cocktail for this event using one of Storm King's whiskeys that you can purchase and sip during the event. You can also purchase any of Yarrow Taproom's drinks (beer/spirits) during the event. Their food menu will not be available this evening. If you find a whiskey you love, you'll be able to purchase bottles after the event.

Tickets for this event are $20 per person.
